PITTSBURGH, Nov. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Inventors from Spooner, Wisc., have developed the CLAMP HORSE, a new type of sawhorse design. A prototype is available. This is also a patented design.
"I was inspired to develop this invention after cutting a 2 x 4. One of the sawhorses fell, and the saw I was using cut my leg. This newly designed sawhorse will provide a more safe and secure surface," said the inventors. The CLAMP HORSE provides a means of securely retaining work pieces on its upper surface. It will prevent pieces from shifting and falling during cutting, routing, drilling and other operations. This will, in turn, help prevent injuries to carpenters and other users. In addition, it will eliminate the need for a second person. This sawhorse can easily store in a small volume of space when not in use.
The original design was submitted to the Minnesota office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
