PITTSBURGH, May 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- People who tend to breathe through their mouths while sleeping often wake up to find moisture and stains from saliva in their bed. Since this is not an uncommon occurrence, an inventor from Kansas City, Kansas, has taken a proactive approach to the problem.
He developed SLOBBER DOBBER to prevent excess saliva excreted while sleeping from coming into contact with bedding and clothing. As such, it promotes sanitary conditions for improved hygiene. Designed with adequate ventilation for breathing ease, it is lightweight, comfortable and user friendly. Since it protects clothes and bed linens against moisture and stains, it also saves the time, effort and expense otherwise spent on frequent changing and laundering of bedding and sleepwear. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "When I sleep, I produce an excess amount of saliva, which gets released onto the bed linens," he said, "so I needed something to contain the discharge and spare the sheets."
