PITTSBURGH, Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "Driving a commercial vehicle at night, I was frequently blinded by the over powering glare of headlights reflecting in my side-view mirrors," said an inventor from Hendersonville, Tenn. "In order to do away with the blinding glare, I redesigned the side mirrors to ease the eye strain I was facing while driving at night."
He developed the AUTO FADE COMMERCIAL VEHICLE MIRROR to reduce the glare caused by the reflections of the headlights of trailing vehicles. It keeps the driver from being blinded by the glare of bright lights. The side view mirrors will help reduce eyestrain and irritation along with reducing driver fatigue which will improve highway safety for motor carriers, professional drivers, and other roadway users. Additionally, it is adaptable for use with new and existing mirrors.
