Invesco Canada addresses investor demand for higher yields

Launches two new portfolios precision engineered for yield, prepared for risk

TORONTO, April 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - With heightened financial market volatility over the past few years and interest rates at historic lows, Canadian investors are seeking income-producing options that won't increase their exposure to risk. Invesco Canada is meeting this demand with the introduction of two precision-engineered, yield-focused portfolios under its signature Invesco Intactive brand:

• Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio
• Invesco Intactive Strategic Capital Yield Portfolio Class

The two Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolios are yield-oriented investment vehicles designed to generate income with the potential for capital appreciation. The Portfolios strategically mix high-yielding asset classes with assets that have historically performed well in times of economic stress. Additionally, the Portfolios may tactically capitalize on yield opportunities and adjust to current market conditions.

The Portfolios will be managed by Invesco's trusted Global Asset Allocation team and designed based on the team's proprietary risk-management techniques. Invesco Intactive Yield Portfolios are available in a corporate class version (Invesco Intactive Strategic Capital Yield Portfolio Class) and mutual fund trust version (Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio).
