Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. Announces Public Offering of Common Stock

ATLANTA, Feb. 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE: IVR) announced today that it plans to make a public offering of 22 million shares of its common stock. The Company will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3.3 million shares of common stock.  The underwriters may offer the shares of common stock from time to time to purchasers directly or through agents, or through brokers in brokerage transactions on the NYSE, or in the over-the-counter market, or to dealers in negotiated transactions or in a combination of such methods of sale, at a fixed price or prices, which may be changed, or at market prices prevailing at the time of sale, at prices related to such prevailing market prices or at negotiated prices.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to purchase assets within its target asset classes, subject to its investment guidelines, and to the extent consistent with maintaining its REIT qualification, and for other general corporate purposes.
