The Stealth Nighthawk F-117A works almost the same as the famous Raspberry Pi minicomputer and his half its size. However, the developers gave the device a nicer design, which makes it look like an USB stick. By plugging it into the television, people can stream all files from servers, hard disks and other devices to the screen and view it by their TV remote control. Because it uses XBMC software an open platform is created, that can play all kinds of files, without being dependent on Apple or Google. The software will scan all media and create a personalized library. There even are playlist and slideshow functions, a weather forecast feature and many audio visualizations.
By using Linux software de television transforms into a real PC, which can be used for browsing, save or open files. ,,This minicomputer gives users absolute freedom in deciding for themselves what they want to play on their devices," managing director James Ibrahim of Anaar says.
The name of the minicomputer refers to the American jets which our invisible to radar. ,,When you plug it at the backside of your television, you can't see it anymore, just like the real F-117A," Ibrahim explains.
The mini-computer can be taken and plugged-in everywhere, shares media through WiFi and is plugged-in on the television through the HDMI- and USB-gate. Because it needs just a little electricity, sticking it in the USB-gate of the TV gives it sufficient power.
