URBANDALE, Iowa, April 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- "Our liberties we prize and our rights we will maintain." This year Iowa citizens hope to maintain the right to create their own firework displays. From the creator of DSM Daily, local entrepreneur Jeremiah Terhark, and his brother Zachariah Terhark, plan to help Iowans do just that. As owners of Iowa Fireworks Company, they are giving away over $100,000 in vouchers for fireworks. Pending Governor Branstad's approval of the Iowa Fireworks Bill, the Terharks will help Iowans light up the night sky this June and July.
"It's something Iowans have waited nearly a century for; and now, it's time to get firecrackin'," said Jeremiah Terhark.
While tents will not be open until June 13, excited citizens can start getting involved right away. Sign up at https://iowa-fireworks.com to get a free $10 fireworks voucher*, and then start sharing on social media. For every referral sign up Iowa Fireworks Company will be giving away free swag in the form of wristbands, t-shirts, and actual American Flags. And ten lucky fireworks lovers will win free executive fireworks packages.
The bill, which Governor Branstad should pass next week, will legalize the sale and use of all class 'C' fireworks. This includes, but is not limited to, shells and mortars, Roman candles, bottle rockets, snakes, and firecrackers. Iowa Fireworks Company will sell these fireworks at several distinct locations across the state for all visitors 18 and up. The tents will be up, and fireworks for sale, from June 13- July 8. Happy Independence Day, Iowa!
"We're excited for the opportunity to celebrate freedom responsibly," said Zachariah Terhark. "With fireworks."
*Pending State approval, will be redeemable at all physical fireworks locations from June 13-July 8. Must be 18 years or older to redeem.
