Iran Khodro Industrial Group's Active Participation in Three Major Events in Iran's Auto Industry

Iran Khodro, one of the world's biggest car manufacturing companies, will actively participate in three national events, namely the Iran's 3^rd Auto Industry Conference, the Iran's Auto Industry Expo and the 15^th Environment Exhibition.

The three events will be held simultaneously on the Permanent Grounds for Tehran International Exhibitions and at a major conference center nearby from February 29 to March 2, 2016.

The Auto Industry Conference held with a view to competition and international cooperation brings together a host of experts and executives from different countries on February 29 and March 1. Some 311 foreign and 1285 local participants are attending the event. The conference was also held in previous two years whereby international companies got a first-hand look at the achievements of Iran's auto industry. This year, the event will set the stage for the presence of international companies in Iran's auto industry and facilitate exports. The conference is being held at a time when sanctions against Iran have been lifted, providing an ideal opportunity for Iranian industrialists as well as foreign car manufacturers to establish or expand their cooperation.

Among the strategies in the auto industry laid out by Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade is to boost cooperation with foreign companies and draw in their direct investment, a move which would help develop the infrastructure in Iran's auto industry.

Iran Khodro, which has set a goal of turning into a major auto maker on the international stage, considers the event as an ideal opportunity to work with international manufacturers, transfer technical knowhow and enter global markets through exports. Another event to be held this week will be Iran's 1st Auto Industry Expo. The exposition being held on the Permanent Grounds for Tehran International Exhibitions will give foreign investors the opportunity to get a first-hand look at the accomplishments and capabilities of Iran's auto industry.
