Ismael Cala Presents Issue No. 4 of Online Magazine "CALA 3.0"

MIAMI, May 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Inspirational speaker, writer and CNN en Espanol host Ismael Cala presents the fourth issue of the online magazine CALA 3.0, in an app available for iPads and iPhones which has already gained widespread approval in the United States and Latin America.

In this issue, Ismael Cala relates his experiences on the beautiful Honduran island of Roatan, located in the Caribbean Sea, and offers reflections on "the gift of giving" in his inspirational column.

The fourth issue's cover shot is by famous Dominican photographer Jochy Fersobe. ABOUT ISMAEL CALA

Ismael Cala, host of the CALA program on CNN en Espanol, has more than 25 years of experience working in media in Cuba, Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. In Miami, he worked on several radio and television programs. In 2008 he hosted a review featured on Mexico's Canal de las Estrellas (Televisa).

In 2013 he published his first book, "El poder de escuchar" (The Power of Listening), which has become a best seller in Latin America and the U.S. He was named "Ibero-American Personality of 2013" by the Organization of Ibero-American Journalists, and in 2014 received the John Maxwell Leadership Award in the Media category.

Born in the city of Santiago de Cuba, he graduated with honors from the Universidad de Oriente (Art History), and from the Department of Communication Studies of York University in Toronto.
