Issa PR Appointed By Fashion-Forward Label - Lady and Butler
NEW YORK, Nov. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- New luxury brand strategy and public relations agency, Issa PR will handle work for international fashion label, Lady and Butler. Created by designer Eli Caner, Lady and Butler focuses on creating bespoke and ready-to-wear garments for the hospitality industry. Already making a name for herself in the industry by creating designs for hotels and clubs, such as The Soho Grand, Ian Schrager's The EDITION Hotel, The Mark Hotel, Gilded Lily and brands such as Kiehls, Issa PR will help to launch the label's exclusive new collection for The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Michael Starr's Le Zoo in Florida, El Tucan Miami, Marion Brasserie, Rowlands and 15 Central Park West.
The iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles debuted a line of pool uniforms designed by Eli Caner this summer. Inspired by the pool name, Tropicana - the Lady and Butler uniforms will be worn at the historic David Hockney pool and the Tropicana Pool Cafe, and are full of vibrant colors and exotic prints that will be introduced alongside a new menu, stunning redesign of the area, plus $25 million dollar renovation of the hotel rooms. Men will wear a palm tree shirt paired with shorts, while the pool girls will wear a white swimsuit with cover up on top during the day and a neoprene dress with a lace back in black for the night.
To celebrate the launch, a short film capturing the story and vision behind the collection was released. The film, "Dancing Commas" named after the pool was directed by Charlotte Rabate, a French film director, who collaborated with Lola Vila and Chananun Chotrungroj to create the evocative short film. Exquisitely shot on location, the video encapsulates the vivid spirit and personality of the pool, as well as guests of the hotel. Rabate has won film awards from Porshe Design, and was recently nominated for a Young Director Award at the 2014 Cannes Lions Film Festival. She is known for her work with top fashion brands, including Vera Wang and Isabel de Pedro.
Lady and Butler additionally just launched a new collection for Michael Starr's eagerly anticipated Le Zoo in Florida with breathtaking designs for men and women. Caner also created an exotic collection for El Tucan in Miami with African print dresses, tuxedo shirts and blazers for men and sleeveless tuxedo shirts for women. Marion Brasserie debuted mandarin colored shirts for men and women, as well as elegant blue and white striped shirts. New collections for 15 Central Park West and Rowlands will also launch this winter.
