It's No Joke: Wealthy South Florida Philanthropist Known as "Deal Fool" Extends $5,000 Giveaway to Contestant with Worthiest Submission to www.DealFool.com
Winner will be Selected at Midnight EDT on Friday, April 8, Based on Submission of 50 Words or Less
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The anonymous South Florida philanthropist known as "Deal Fool," who launched his web portal www.DealFool.com on April Fools' Day, will now announce the winner of his $5,000 giveaway on midnight Friday, April 8, 2011. The contest, which welcomes entries of 50 words or less from everyday individuals in need of cash, was extended as a result of the overwhelming amount of submissions.
The self-proclaimed "fool for love," whose wife was denying him sex until he partook in more charitable efforts, created www.DealFool.com as a web portal where contestants could submit their stories for consideration or support their friends deserving of Deal Fool's $5,000 giveaway.
On his web portal, Deal Fool explains, "I'm a well-to-do guy who's pretty happy with my life, has worked tirelessly to get to where I am, and has been happily married to a beautiful young woman with a heart of gold for more than eight years. But, my wife has recently given me an ultimatum: Be more charitable, or no sex. So, I am going to give away $5,000 to those in need of it. What can I say; I'm a fool for love."
Hundreds of entries flooded the website since its April 1 launch, and a winner, or possible winners, will now be announced Friday, April 8, at midnight EDT.
