ItsOn Hires Jose Lorenzo as SVP of Sales for EMEA, APAC

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ItsOn, Inc., the leader in Mobile Smart Services™, today announced the appointment of Jose Lorenzo as its new senior vice president of sales for the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. Lorenzo is a dynamic global telecommunications industry sales and operations executive with over 20 years of experience.

In his new position, Lorenzo will support ItsOn's cloud-based service platform that radically enhances mobile operator capabilities. The ItsOn platform enables operators to deliver highly differentiated services and a new user model that promises to reduce customer churn and drive increased loyalty – all while simplifying operators' business processes and allowing them to deploy new services faster. Furthermore, because it provides the opportunity for highly personalized consumer service, the ItsOn value proposition can help operators increase revenue while they save money by moving to the cloud.

Lorenzo brings to his new role at ItsOn two decades of experience in sales, marketing, business strategy and general management. Throughout his career in sales and operations, he has overseen new technology deployments for large mobile operators. He has also demonstrated a track record for building international teams in the telecom, Internet communications and IT sectors.

Lorenzo graduated with honors from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, receiving a master's degree in Computer Science. His career includes work for companies such as Openwave Systems, Aepona, Alcatel, Vertel Corporation, HP and Telefonica, where he delivered growth in various economic environments and geographies that included Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.
