iWowWe's Announces Their "iCare. iGive. iWowWe" Philanthropic Program
Streaming video technology company releases aggressive initial schedule of charities to support.
THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Sept. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet technology leader, iWowWe.com, has just announced a unique philanthropic program that will extend support to charitable organizations on a monthly basis. The initial schedule extends into 2013 with support for such groups as the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, children's advocacy groups, and much more.
Company CEO, Bill Starkey, said that this support would come in the form of donations of manpower and cash to support an ever-growing list of charitable organizations. These will start with selected charities in the Houston, Texas area but will then expand to national and even International aid organizations. "The core of iWowWe's mission statement centers around the idea of eradicating poverty around the world. We will start locally but continue to think globally as we expand our scope."
On a personal level Starkey supports several international orphanages; however this has now become a bigger mission through iWowWe. One of iWowWe's top leaders (the company's first female Field Vice President, Gail Johnson from Joplin, Missouri) works her iWowWe business to fund her efforts to stop human trafficking. With over 20,000 active independent affiliates located in over 100 countries around the world, the company plans to turn to their international teams and encourage their support of charitable organizations within their local communities throughout Russia, Hungary, the Ukraine and other parts of Europe.
"By following our example, our goal is to encourage our affiliates to fulfill our corporate mission statement to 'inspire, empower, and connect' people with their dreams," said company COO Casey Minshew. iWowWe currently offers a lucrative Affiliate program that rewards "ordinary people for sharing our technology products."
The company is actively looking for additional organizations they can support. "Nothing is off limits to us," Minshew said. "While some companies choose to focus on just one charity, iWowWe is looking for anything that we can support that we can build a local base of support around where we have a heavy concentration of affiliates that can then carry on our efforts beyond what we can do ourselves."
