IYAZ Hosts Free Concert at Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom

AURORA, Ohio, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Guests will "replay" Friday, June 11 in their heads when IYAZ performs at Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom, the outdoor waterpark located in Aurora, Ohio.  

Sponsored by 96.5 KISS FM and Pepsi, the popular new artist will be performing a free concert in support of the Klaben Teen Text Pledge at the Tidal Wave Bay wave pool deck.  

Originally from the British Virgin Islands, IYAZ attended the New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, R.I., where he recorded music and studied digital recording.  IYAZ signed a recording contract with Beluga Heights, a record label owned by Warner Bros. Records.  His first single "Replay" was released in 2009 and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 1 internationally.  His debut album Replay is scheduled to be released on June 8, 2010.

96.5 KISS FM, in conjunction with Klaben, Pepsi, WKYC-TV 3 and Wildwater Kingdom, is offering free admission to young adults (ages 15-19) who take the "Klaben Teen Text Pledge."  The first 965 participants with a printed and signed pledge form will receive free admission to the park for that day (only valid on Friday, June 11).  Pledges can be downloaded at kisscleveland.com or wildwaterfun.com.

Pledge forms will be accepted from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or until the 965 free admissions have been awarded.  Club KISS Mixer, DJ E-V, will spin on stage at 1 p.m. followed by the special performance from IYAZ at 1:30 p.m.

Wildwater Kingdom offers an assortment of water slides and special attractions for guests to enjoy such as the 60-foot-tall Liquid Lightning tornado slide, Thunder Falls, Ohio's tallest water slide complex, and Splash Landing, four stories of watery fun for the whole family.

New this season at Wildwater Kingdom is The Beach Family Fun Area.  This new attraction, located next to Little Tikes Town, features a giant Checker and Chess board with movable playing pieces such as knights, rooks and pawns.  There is also an arcade and special games designed just for kids as well as a sandy beach area overlooking Geauga Lake where families can play in the sand or relax.
