J1SIM Launches Ground-breaking Unlimited 4G Mobile Data for European Visitors to the US

J1SIM, the fixed-price everything-included mobile phone service for international students and workers visiting the US, today announced the launch of a ground-breaking 4G package with no monthly quotas.
Designed expressly for the smartphone era, the new service, branded J1 Unlimited, will be available from today, and will be priced at a flat US$45 per month for EU-based customers.
Like all the J1SIM phone packages, the J1 Unlimited plan also includes unlimited calling to any US number as well as free SMS texts worldwide.

Powered by the fastest 4G LTE network in the US, the J1SIM service was originally designed for the thousands of young Europeans who head for the US every summer to work as camp counsellors, waiters, farm workers and in other seasonal employment, under the American J-1 visa program. In just over a year, the programme has expanded to cover exchange students and other international academics, interns in business and longer-term work trainees, and now has customers from throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America.
The basic J1SIM package, priced at $25/month, includes free calling throughout the US, free texting worldwide and unlimited free 2.5G and 3G data, plus two gigabytes of 4G LTE data. Customers can buy additional bundles of 4G data which come with unlimited access to a wide selection of audio and video streaming services.
A $15/month upgrade provides unlimited free international calling to landlines in 70 countries and mobiles in 30 countries, including most of Europe.
"But we noticed that many of our customers no longer use international calling," Grunski said. "They're using internet-based voice and video services like Skype, WhatsApp, Telegram and WeChat. So when the opportunity came up to give them unlimited high-speed access, we grabbed it."
