Jack J. Grynberg Files a Criminal Complaint Against BP Egypt and Total SA at the Cairo Criminal Prosecutor's Office, Under Egypt's Income Tax Evasion Laws

Mr. Jack J. Grynberg, President and CEO of RSM Production Corporation (RSM) and President of Pricaspian Development Corporation, filed papers on 11th November 2013 at the Cairo Criminal Prosecutor's Office under Article 47 of Law No. 91 in Egypt asserting  tax evasion by BP Egypt and Total SA.

The papers filed relate to Jack J. Grynberg's claims that the governments of Egypt and Kazakhstan missed out on billions of dollars of transaction tax when BP Egypt and Total SA undervalued and swapped assets in 2001. Early in December 2013 Mr. Grynberg's complaint was received by the Egyptian Tax Evasion Department under the heading number 1795 27/11.
