James Menadier Returns to InteliSpend After a Two-Year Maritz Assignment

FENTON, Mo., March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- James Menadier has been named president of InteliSpend Prepaid Solutions, an independent entity within Maritz Holdings, Inc.  Effective immediately, he will assume the day-to-day operational responsibilities for the organization. Most recently Menadier served as president of Maritz Motivation Solutions, part of the Maritz family of companies.

Menadier began his career with American Express and held numerous financial, analytical and leadership roles.  Very significant was his final role prior to joining InteliSpend. He was the financial representative on the American Express negotiations team that helped create the joint venture between American Express and Maritz.  

During his time with InteliSpend (originally known as American Express Incentive Services), he held many leadership roles, including vice president, finance and administration; chief financial officer; and general manager and chief operating officer. One of Menadier's final responsibilities as GM and COO was to help negotiate the change in ownership, resulting in what is now known as InteliSpend.

In February 2010, Menadier transferred to Maritz to serve as the president of Maritz Motivation Solutions.  There he helped develop a long-term growth strategy within the motivation and rewards space.  Never far away from the prepaid business he helped grow, Menadier served as an InteliSpend board member during his time at Maritz.

Menadier earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Rutgers University, Newark College of Arts and Sciences, an M.B.A. in finance from Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration, and has served on Loyalty 360's Board of Advisors.
