LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jammin Java Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: JAMN) announced today the appointment of Ghanaian reggae star Rocky Dawuni to its Board of Advisors. Mr. Dawuni continues to lift his global profile since the release of his critically acclaimed album Hymns for the Rebel Soul, which launched exclusively in Whole Foods Markets in May 2010.  The album has been nominated for a prestigious NAACP Image Award for Outstanding World Music Album.

Dawuni has leveraged his popularity to champion social causes and inspire a generation of artists and fans alike.  His eloquence as well as his successful melding of musical celebrity and social action has made him a spokesperson for various causes worldwide.  Over the last few years, Dawuni's music and electric live performances have attracted thousands to his concerts.
