DALLAS, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Jay Graham has been named vice president of Encore Construction, a subsidiary of Dallas-based Encore Enterprises, Inc. Graham brings over 15 years of construction experience to Encore with a proven track record in strategic leadership coupled with demonstrated expertise in managing existing organizations, leading program/operational start-ups, and favorably positioning companies to achieve growth and meet business objectives. Graham's primary focus is Encore's multi-family developments.
Graham joins Encore Construction from Erickson Retirement Communities where he was the Regional Vice President of Development. During his tenure, Graham spearheaded real estate acquisition and development operations across nine states in the southeast, southwest and western regions of the country. Graham laid the groundwork for authoring an expansion plan in support of three Erickson communities located in Dallas, Houston and Denver. He also oversaw budgets of $1.7 billion in support of the three projects and managed more than $60 million in professional vendor contracts.
Prior to his tenure with Erickson Retirement Communities, Graham was Vice President of Predevelopment and Preconstruction Services for JPI Partners where he provided operational and business leadership in support of the development and construction group.
Graham also served as the Vice President of Construction and Development for Echelon Residential where he oversaw all aspects of construction management for 1,800 multi-unit housing projects across the southwest and southeast U.S. He partnered with development and property management teams to coordinate each phase of construction and led negotiations with consultants, vendors and construction firms.
Graham is a graduate of Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction.
