Jelmar President Honored with 2013 National Association of Women Business Owners Award

SKOKIE, Ill., May 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alison Gutterman, president of Jelmar, LLC, (www.jelmar.com), is being honored by the National Association of Women Business Owners with their annual "Woman Business Owner of the Year" award. Gutterman, the third-generation president and granddaughter of the company founder is being recognized for her business achievements both with Jelmar and in the larger business community as well. She will receive the award at the 30^th Annual NAWBO Chicago Achievement Luncheon on May 7.

The National Association of Women Business Owners' 2013 Woman Business Owner of the Year is awarded each year to a successful woman business owner who has been in good standing for the past three years, actively promotes small business/entrepreneurship, and has performed outstanding achievements within her company. Nominees must also exhibit role model qualities including community service, business acumen, and the ability to overcome obstacles. Past winners have included Lori Hilson Cioromski, of TH Hilson Company, and Victoria E. Rock, of Victoria Court Reporting Service, Inc. for their distinguished accomplishments in the professional world.
