Jennison Manufacturing Group Receives American Petroleum Institute Certification

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Jennison Manufacturing Group is proud to announce that it received final audit approval and obtained its American Petroleum Institute (API) certification. Obtaining this certification positions Jennison to provide high-quality machined parts for the growing oil and gas industry.   

API is the only national trade association that represents all segments of America's technology-driven oil and natural gas industry. The increased global and competitive demands of the oil and natural gas industry have created new measures by which organizations must demonstrate their capabilities, and receiving API Certification allows organizations to prove that they can consistently meet industry standards such as the inspection, repair, replacement parts and maintenance of process equipment; and customer requirements, while providing a continued high level of safety.

The audit was performed at Jennison's headquarters and API auditors verified conformance with API SPEC Q1, ISO/TS 29001, ISO 9001:2008. As a result, Jennison Precision Machine Inc. and Jennison Corporation received the following certifications from API:

• APIQR  REGISTRATION NO.  Q1-1344  FOR API SPEC Q1
• APIQR  REGISTRATION NO.  TS-1236  FOR ISO/TS 29001
• APIQR  REGISTRATION NO.  1524  FOR ISO 9001:2008
