Jeremy Dory Wins Evangelist of the Year and Receives Brammo's Empulse R

ASHLAND, Ore., Oct. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Brammo Inc., a leading developer of electric vehicle technology and manufacturer of two-wheel electric vehicles, is delighted to announce the 2012 Brammo Evangelist of the Year: Jeremy Dory.  Dory will receive a Brammo Empulse R electric motorcycle for his enthusiastic Brammo fandom. A software engineer based in Colorado, Dory is a life-long outdoors enthusiast, a long-time motorcyclist and an advocate of the electric vehicle movement.

Dory is the founder and primary author behind Empulsebuyer.com, a blog dedicated to Brammo's newest motorcycle. . Dory purchased the domain name for his blog shortly after learning of Brammo's plans to develop and produce the Empulse, an electric motorcycle with 100+ miles range and a maximum speed greater than 100 mph. Upon learning about Brammo's electric motorcycles, Dory says, "I discovered that I could enjoy one of my favorite hobbies guilt-free from a carbon perspective and without compromise. I created Empulsebuyer.com to help people see not only the beautiful design of the Empulse, but also the cost savings of going electric."

Beyond blogging on Empulsebuyer.com, Dory developed the "Total Cost of Ownership," a mobile application that compares cost-savings between electric and gas-powered motorcycles. Dory also is an active member in the online community Brammo Owner's Forum (brammoforum.com).
