JI, the Ancient Chinese Girl Ceremony, Returns
SHANGHAI, Feb. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- "Ji" is a Chinese Girl Ceremony. The Ji.Debutant Ball introduces outstanding young ladies coming from illustrious families annually. The first Ball was successfully held on March 23, 2010 at Shanghai Peninsula Hotel, China. Some of the girls, including Sabrina Ho (Macao), daughter of Casino King Stanley Ho Hung-sun, Effy Cheng, daughter of the vice chancellor of Renmin University of China, and Vivian Ai, daughter of Ai Xin, the designer of Hong Kong Great Hall of the People, presented to 100 VIP guests on that unforgettable night.
The 2011 JI Debutant Ball, hosted by JICEHN Celebration Company (SH), plans to invite boys from international families and provide them with the opportunity to not only gain a greater understanding of Chinese culture, but to also get acquainted with other debutantes and cavaliers who might become future business partners and life-long friends.
The "Ji" was handwritten by Mr. Kong Dexiang in 2011. He is a descendent of Confucius.
