Jim Williams, Former CEO of Gold Toe, Named CEO of ILG; Brey Williams Appointed Chief Marketing Officer

HILDEBRAN, N.C., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of International Legwear Group (ILG), a global manufacturer and marketer of legwear, has announced the appointments of two key senior positions within the company.

The first appointment is that of Jim Williams, who has been named Chief Executive Officer of ILG.  Mr. Williams was formerly President and CEO of Gold Toe Brands for 20 years.  He left Gold Toe in 2008 following the company's acquisition by The Blackstone Group and subsequent merger with Moretz Hosiery.  During his 40-year career in the legwear industry, Mr. Williams also served as Chairman of the Board of Maidenform Worldwide as well as for The Hosiery Association.  

The second appointment is that of Brey Williams to the position of Chief Marketing Officer for ILG.  Brey Williams most recently served as President of Sales of Gold Toe/Moretz.  Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of National Accounts for Gold Toe Brands. In his 15-year history in the hosiery business, he has served in leadership roles in all areas of marketing, merchandising and sales.
