CHESAPEAKE, Va., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Zagami has been appointed as the Director of Sales for Cox Media Virginia. He will report out of Cox's Hampton Roads offices.

Zagami has more than fifteen years of media sales and sales management experience in radio and cable television, and over 25 years of total sales experience. He joined Cox Media in 2006 as Local Sales Manager for Northern Virginia (Fairfax and Fredericksburg), and later General Sales Manager for Northern Virginia. Prior to joining Cox Media, Zagami was the Director of Sales for Clear Channel radio in Washington, D.C.
Zagami attended American University and is a member of the Board of Directors of Vehicles for Change where he has served since 2004. In 2007, Jim won the prestigious Cox Media national CAMY Award for Leadership.
