Jockey® Announces Partnership with Run Like A Mother®

KENOSHA, Wis., April 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ready. Set. Go! Today, Jockey® announces their partnership with the nationwide 5k, Run Like A Mother®. Jockey – a leading manufacturer of apparel products – is the new MOTHER OF 'EM ALL presenting title sponsor of the Mother's Day race, held in eight suburban markets countrywide. The partnership speaks to Jockey and Run Like A Mothers' aligned mission of empowering and encouraging women across the country, in all stages of motherhood, to lead active, healthy lifestyles.

Founded in 2008 by Ridgefield, CT resident, Mom, runner and ironman triathlete Megan Searfoss, the Run Like A Mother 5k is an inspiring celebratory event involving the entire family. The annual 5k takes place on Mother's Day in eight markets across the country. Each event kicks off with Kid's Mile and continues with a female-only 5k with hundreds of friends and family members lining the finish and cheering on the athletes. The event culminates with a festive party featuring entertainment, food and refreshments.
