Mr. Martinez has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, including his most recent role as head of medical affairs and clinical operations of Valeritas, Inc. Mr. Martinez joins Center Point as CEO with extensive leadership experience. In his previous role at Valeritas, he built a medical and clinical organization to support commercial operations following the US and EU approvals of a medical device. During his tenure at Valeritas, Mr. Martinez was also a member of the Commercial Leadership Team. In addition, he served as the Medicaid director of pharmaceutical services for New Jersey, providing pharmaceutical, health, and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services for over 900,000 beneficiaries with responsibility for a drug and services budget exceeding $2 billion.
