Joerns Healthcare Awarded Premier Safe Patient Handling Contract for Hoyer® Brand

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Joerns Healthcare (Joerns) has been awarded a three-year national group purchasing agreement for "Patient Lifts and Lateral Transfer Devices" by the Premier healthcare alliance, effective August 1st, 2012. The Joerns' Hoyer® brand is the oldest and most recognized brand name in the United States for Safe Patient Handling Solutions. In addition, Premier members will have access to a number of exclusive offerings including Joerns C.A.S.E. (Creating a Safer Environment) program. C.A.S.E. helps establish best practice to prevent staff injuries and is a proven and cost effective method that enables a sustainable programmatic solution.
