Joe's Crab Shack Treats Maine Lobster To A Southern Tradition

HOUSTON, Aug. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This fall, Joe's Crab Shack will treat the famous seafood of the northern coasts, such as Maine lobster and Pacific Dungeness crab, to the traditions of the South, with a little BBQ to boot, in its Coastal Comfort menu, Aug. 27 through Nov. 18.

With its 100% Shore attitude, Joe's has created unique combinations sure to please. Best-of-the-best Maine lobster is introduced to good old Southern frying in its Southern Fried Maine Lobster; Pacific Dungeness crab meets barbecue in the new BBQ Dungeness Crab dish; and grits make their debut on the dinner menu with Joe's Shrimp and Cheddar Grits, made with New Orleans-style barbecue spiced shrimp. Joe's will also treat its famous steampot to a little Cajun spice with its Ragin' Cajun Steampot, featuring Pacific Dungeness crab, queen crab, shrimp and andouille sausage.

Joe's also went to the Deep South for its drink menu – with a little moonshine from the still. New Outlaw Moonshine cocktails including Moonshine Punch, Moonshine Tea and Apple Pie Moonshine are lit up with Firefly™ White Lightning or Apple Moonshine distilled in the swamps of Wadmalaw Island, S.C.
