The line will launch on March 1, 2018, which will also serve as Opening Day for the seasonal stand.

What was previously known as a tiny spring-and-summer-stop food service establishment only, has transformed itself into an open-through-December, multiple-award-winning eatery via its addition of an augmented hot food line and limited-edition, seasonal designer dessert menu. Joe's Dairy Bar and Grill is now stocked with a variety of seasonal treats, including fresh-baked fruit pies; bubbling pots of scratch-made chili and soups; tangy Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches with locally sourced rolls; and more. The Grill has earned acclaim for its fresh beef hand-formed burger patties and its wide range of designer hamburgers and wraps. The "Monster Burger" is a huge fan favorite: a double bacon cheeseburger slathered with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles, all stuffed between two grilled cheese sandwiches instead of a bun.

Having made the "Summer Hot List" for 2017 by The Poughkeepsie Journal for the creation of its unique "Freak Shakes", for Spring 2018 Joe's Dairy Bar and Grill will continue to offer its now-famous Peanut Butter Cup Freak Shake, in addition to its brand new Freak Sundaes.  The Freak Shake concept itself involves a hand-made milkshake melding layers of ice cream with over-the-top toppings in creative culinary combinations. The Freak Sundaes will be similarly stuffed and is being billed as big enough to feed two. 

In Spring 2018 Joe's Dairy Bar and Grill's custom-made ice cream cakes will remain available to order in numerous shapes both classic and unusual (think heart, dome/ball, giant cupcake/mushroom, etc.) and in various incarnations (intricate seasonal decorations, highly personalized birthday cakes, and the Freak Cake). 

Busy parents with kids who attend school can now order and pay for Joe's Dairy Bar and Grill's hot and cold food offerings online so that they can pick up their meals, pies, cakes and treats at an express serving window to feed their family while on the run.
