John Seigenthaler Relocates from New York to Finn Partners' Nashville Office -- DVL Seigenthaler

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Finn Partners' senior counsel and nationally award-winning broadcast journalist John Seigenthaler has relocated from New York headquarters to become a partner at the agency's Nashville office – DVL Seigenthaler, Tennessee's largest communications firm.

Seigenthaler, whose extensive career in journalism included more than a decade with NBC News including as longstanding weekend anchor of NBC Nightly News, was most recently affiliated with Finn Partners' New York office as Senior Counsel and strategic advisor to the agency's top clients.

Seigenthaler, a native of Nashville, recently relocated to his home state after more than 20 years in the New York tri-state area. He brings his expertise to DVL Seigenthaler's local, national, and international clients, advising corporations on communications strategy, messaging, presentation, social media, and reputation and crisis management.

Seigenthaler joined NBC News in 1996 and was named anchor of NBC Nightly News Saturday and Sunday broadcasts, and NBC News Special Correspondent where he appeared on TODAY, Meet The Press, Dateline, MSNBC and CNBC. During his 11 years at NBC he covered some of the most consequential events of the time, including presidential campaigns and conventions, 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and terrorist attacks around the world. He opened the New York office of Nashville-based Seigenthaler Public Relations in 2008, and was the Primetime Anchor for Aljazeera America beginning in 2013. Seigenthaler joined Finn Partners in 2016. He began his broadcast journalism career in Nashville, reporting and anchoring for WKRN-TV and WSMV-TV.

Additionally, he is an RFK Journalism Award judge and a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Seigenthaler is a graduate of Duke University.
