About Hope Rising
Hope Rising was founded in July of 2012 and has been active in the rescue and restoration of victims of human trafficking for the past five years and has recently become a licensed child placement agency. What makes Hope Rising different than other child placement agencies is that it provides trauma informed specialized care foster homes with wrap around services to both the children and foster parents. Hope Rising believes that it is the family environment that provides the structure and the healthy relationships required for lasting recovery. Vulnerability and victimization comes from the multiple layers of trauma that each child experiences both during their trafficking experience as well as the from the years prior that have been proven to exist that caused them to be vulnerable to exploitation in the first place.
