Chorus Call and Hitachi High-Technologies Establish Regional Services Provider

MONROEVILLE, Pa., March 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- A close, year-long collaboration between Hitachi High-Technologies and Chorus Call has resulted in the launch of a new communications service provider for the Asia Pacific region.  The new company, Chorus Call Asia Kabushiki Kaisha, will launch April 1 in Tokyo, Japan, and will provide advanced hosted conferencing and collaboration solutions for the expanding economic region.  Chorus Call, the world leader in high quality conferencing services, is headquartered in Monroeville, PA and has operations and offices located around the globe to provide local and international customers with advanced and feature-rich audio and video collaboration tools.

This new endeavor is the end result of a productive joint partnership between Chorus Call, the Compunetix Video Systems Division (VSD) and Hitachi High-Technologies that was focused on developing a strong brand and services approach to the competitive Japanese communications market.  The effort, started over 12 months ago, has already converted significant corporate customers to the service which is built upon the CONTEX Summit™ and the EVERGREEN® collaboration media processors. These facilities, together with the Chorus Call service model and the Hitachi High-Technologies sales reach, combine to provide a unique offering focused on high quality, high definition and high reliability.
