Joseph Doherty Named CEO Of New Orleans Technology Firm GCR Inc.

NEW ORLEANS, July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Clearview Capital LLC "(Clearview"), a private equity firm based in Old Greenwich, CT, announced today the appointment of Joseph P. Doherty, Jr. as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and board member for one of its recently acquired strategic portfolio companies, GCR Inc. (GCR)

GCR is an international professional services firm which partners with government and commercial clients to deliver consulting, business process improvement services and unique analytics-based technology solutions.   The company's intellectual capital and solution expertise includes the fields of aviation, disaster recovery, elections, nuclear power, public safety, right-of-way and urban planning. Clearview acquired GCR on December 31, 2011.

Doherty has a demonstrated track record of leadership, proven success in building/scaling business process and technology-enabled solutions and services, and building long-term employee and customer loyalty.

Prior to joining GCR and the Clearview portfolio, Doherty was an executive vice president and government sector president and chief operating officer for Affiliated Computer Services, A Xerox Company.  Doherty previously worked 10 years for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) beginning as an operations director and ultimately, President- Americas' Commercial Outsourcing Division.  He also served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, first as an enlisted communications specialist and retiring as a Naval Officer.  Doherty holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Business Administration from Strayer University.

GCR was founded by Greg Rigamer in 1979 and merged with an entity formed by Mike Flores in 1982 and, together, with a solid leadership team and talented employee base, both have continuously transformed GCR to where it is today.   Rigamer and Flores remain with GCR and serve on the company's board of directors.

Doherty and his leadership team will work out of GCR's Corporate Headquarters in New Orleans, LA.
