Introduction of SocialCorner Sink Promises to Transform Kitchen Design and Function
ATLANTA and QUEBEC CITY, Quebec, May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Julien, a leading stainless steel products manufacturer, and Matthew Quinn, the luxury kitchen and bath designer, today announced their partnership to design, produce and distribute innovative products under Julien's Home Refinements brand. Their design and manufacturing collaboration debuts with six models of Quinn's simple and transformative SocialCorner stainless steel sink.
Quinn originally unveiled his concept design to the public at the 2014 Kips Bay Decorator Show House, catching the attention of the industry. The commercially available product from Home Refinements will premier at ICFF in New York (May 16-19, 2015) and at Dwell on Design in Los Angeles (May 29-31, 2015).
The sinks are the first ever to allow more than one person to work and socialize during meal preparation or entertaining. Advancing the popular trend of the kitchen as social heart of the home, Julien and Quinn now provide a sink that fundamentally reinvents the central kitchen island to allow more participation and collaboration between family members or friends.
The solution is as simple as it is breakthrough: designing and producing a sink created specifically to be installed off-center and flush to the edge of any island. Doing so creates an additional, usable side of the sink and a modern, show-stopping look. The design eliminates the need for a second sink and improves overall kitchen flow.

Quinn is known for designs that showcase unexpected uses of metals, colors and textures. Julien specializes in metals formation and has the ability to realize Quinn's designs with exceptional quality. The SocialCorner sink is available in six models for left or right installation, in 24'', 30'' or 36'' standard cabinet width. The sinks are hand-crafted in Canada by Home Refinements from 16 gauge stainless steel. And, their antibacterial and non-corrosive properties, as well as their number-four brushed finish ensure long-lasting quality.
Additions to the current SocialCorner collection and to the Home Refinements product portfolio are under discussion between Julien's product development team and Matthew Quinn.
