JustFoodForDogs Brings Back Popular Thanksgiving Feast Recipe and Donates 9,000 Meals to Rescue Organizations

The limited-time holiday recipe is also now available online for the first time, making it easier for pet parents to give their dogs a feast of their own.

TUSTIN, Calif., Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- JustFoodForDogs, the science-backed fresh dog food company, today announced the return of its best-selling Thanksgiving Feast Recipe, a limited-time offering designed to give dogs a festive meal of their own. A favorite in JustFoodForDogs kitchens since 2022, the seasonal recipe will now be available for online purchase for the first time this year, alongside its return to JustFoodForDogs kitchens and pantries.. The Thanksgiving Feast Recipe is available starting at $14.99 from beginning today through November 25, giving pet parents an accessible, healthy and safe way to include their dogs in holiday festivities.

JustFoodForDogs' Thanksgiving Feast offers a way to share the spirit of the holiday with a meal formulated specifically for dogs. Made with human-grade, whole-food ingredients, including turkey, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberries and kale, the recipe is a fresh way to bring familiar seasonal flavors to their bowls. Thanksgiving is one of the most tempting times of year to share a plate with a beloved pet, but traditional holiday foods can pose serious risks to dogs. Onions and garlic, common ingredients in stuffing, gravies and other holiday dishes, are toxic to dogs, cooked bones can splinter and cause serious injury and desserts may contain xylitol, a sweetener that is highly toxic to dogs. Thanksgiving Feast gives pet parents a way to share the flavors and traditions of the holiday with their dogs while providing fresh food nutrition, without the risks that can come with table scraps.

"During the holidays, it's natural to want to share special meals with the dogs we love, but some items in holiday dishes like onions and garlic aren't safe to eat for our canine companions," said Dr, Vincent Michels, DVM at JustFoodForDogs. "Dogs deserve more than the occasional bite from our plates. Our Thanksgiving Feast is crafted from fresh ingredients and brings together the familiar flavors of the season, allowing them to be a part of the holiday tradition without compromising on nutrition."

The company's commitment to canine nutrition is also extending beyond your family's kitchen this holiday season with a donation of 9,000 Thanksgiving Feast meals to rescue organizations, providing dogs in shelters and rescues with a seasonal special made specifically for them. Participating organizations include Thrive Animal Rescue, The Animal Pad and San Diego Humane Society in San Diego; Unconditional Rescue, OC Pom Rescue, R&R Boxer Rescue, OC Pitbull Rescue, K9 Kismet, Eastwood Ranch, Maeday Rescue, A Purposeful Rescue, Pug Nation, Vanderpump Dog Foundation  and Wags & Walks LA in California; Korean K9 Rescue in New York; and Wags & Walks Nashville in Tennessee. Through this donation, JustFoodForDogs is extending its focus on canine nutrition to dogs awaiting adoption, helping provide nourishing meals to animals in the care of rescue organizations.

• In-store: $14.99 for an 18-ounce portion at JustFoodForDogs retail kitchens and pantries nationwide.
• Online: $209.99 for a 14-pack through the JustFoodForDogs direct-to-consumer website, available for the first time this year.
