Kaazing Appoints Yuan Huntington Weigel as Vice President of Marketing

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaazing, the leading innovator in real-time Web communication and provider of the Kaazing WebSocket Gateway, today announced the appointment of Yuan Huntington Weigel as Vice President of Marketing. In her new position, Yuan will be responsible for product management, product marketing and integrated communications at Kaazing. Utilizing her extensive experience within the web developer community, Yuan will lead all education and awareness building for this game changing W3C technology standard.

Yuan joins Kaazing most recently from Exigen Capital, a $660 million private equity fund, where she served as Principal and Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Before Exigen, Yuan was Vice President of Marketing at NetManage, (acquired by Micro Focus), a software company that provided solutions for integrating, Web enabling and accessing enterprise information systems.  She also served as Vice President of Business Development at Talkway, a startup focusing on providing video based communications solutions. She has also held senior positions in marketing and business development at WebGain, Broadband Office and Netscape Communications, among others.
