NEW YORK, March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KCSA Strategic Communications (KCSA), a leading integrated communications firm specializing in investor relations, business to business public relations, social media and creative marketing services, announced today the launch of an investor relations application ("app"), called The IR App (www.theIRapp.com). 

The IR App is a turnkey mobile app available to all publicly traded companies and is available for download on Apple's App Store on the iPhone and iPad.

By simply providing its ticker symbol, within two weeks, a public company can have its own customized app available for download by millions of investors.  Through The IR App, retail and institutional investors have access to automated, real-time stock price information (via live data feeds), press releases, SEC filings, analyst coverage, corporate documents (fact sheets, presentations, etc.), videos, audiocast conference calls, upcoming events and company contact information. 

Upon downloading The IR App, companies also receive a proprietary and secure contact management system (CMS) where they can upload files for instantaneous availability on their company's customized IR App.  Currently, this capability does not exist on any other investor relations-related application or mobile financial website.
