CHICAGO, Feb. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Keeper, the world's most popular mobile security app for managing passwords and private information, just announced the ability for MacBook users to access their Vault with Touch ID. This latest capability will allow customers simple and secure biometric authentication into all of their websites and cloud applications.
Users of Apple's MacBook Pro can now quickly and securely log into their private Keeper Vault by simply putting their finger on the sensor located next to the Touch Bar. Once their fingerprint unlocks their Keeper account, users will have access to all of their sensitive and personal data including passwords, files, photos and videos.
Another convenient and secure feature provided to MacBook Pro customers is KeeperFill™ integration. This feature allows users to quickly fill and save passwords from their favorite web browser including Safari, Chrome and Firefox. When a user clicks on a URL in a record from their Vault, a browser window will open to allow the insertion of login information.
"This latest capability will save MacBook customers time and make their devices and online activity on their laptops safer," said Craig Lurey, CTO and co-founder of Keeper Security, Inc. "We are so pleased to be able to provide biometric and autofill support so their experience with Keeper is seamless and secure."
Keeper is a free app, with an in-app purchase for higher levels of use. To learn more, please visit https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/keeper-password-manager-secure/id414781829?mt=12.
