LEXINGTON, Va., June 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- When Kendal at Lexington—a full-service, not-for-profit Life Plan Community (formerly known as a continuing care retirement community or CCRC)—opened its doors in July 2000, it soon filled its independent living residences. About 60 percent of its current residents came from the local area, but other residents moved to the community from locations ranging from Maine to Florida and as far west as California, Colorado and Arizona.

Residents will have several cottage choices:

1,400+ square-foot duplex cottages with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one-car garage and an optional sunroom/den.
1,500+ square-foot cottages with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one-car garage and an optional sunroom/den.
1,750+ square-foot cottages with two bedrooms, den, two full bathrooms, two-car garage and an optional sunroom.
