Kennedy Investment Group Hosts Flag Day Ceremony and Monument Dedication in Honor of Area Veterans
WEST DEPTFORD, N.J., July 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- KennedyInvestment Group (KIG), a premier financial services and investment company based in West Deptford, NJ, recently hosted a Flag Day Ceremony and new monument dedication in honor of area and client Veterans, marking the 134th anniversary of the nation's first Flag Day ceremony. The dedication ceremony was led by Jack W. Kennedy III, President and CEO of Kennedy Investment Group, and was attended by approximately 40 guests, including members of the Kennedy Investment Group team and the Military Flag Detail of James S. Emrick, Vince Perla, Richard A. Shanebrook and Bagpiper Terrence C. McDonnell.
"When I completed the buildout of Kennedy Professional Center, I was enthusiastic and proud about the installation and display of our Flag," stated Jack W. Kennedy III. "After its completion, I soon realized that something was missing. Missing are the many heroes that have protected her and continue to do so with honor and sacrifice. We're honored to now display the Flag on 196 Delaware Street over a new monument that pays tribute to our Armed Forces and is a continual reminder of their tremendous service."

The event program included a formal Flag hoisting ceremony, monument dedication and recognition of Veterans in attendance, including a medley of hymns and anthems representing the varying United States military branches. The ceremony concluded with a moment of silence in honor of the nation's fallen Veterans and a closing guest reception.
