Kevin Stahl Joins Miller Buckfire as Managing Director

NEW YORK, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Miller Buckfire & Co., LLC, a leading full-service investment banking firm, today announced that it continues to broaden its investment banking capabilities and real estate expertise with the appointment of Kevin Stahl as a Managing Director, effective immediately.  Mr. Stahl, who has more than 16 years of experience in real estate as an advisor and investment principal, will assist clients in managing complex financial issues and pursuing long-term value-creation strategies.

Mr. Stahl joins Miller Buckfire from RBC Capital Markets, where he was Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Real Estate Investment Banking.  While at RBC, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of this business, including strategic advisory and a broad range of public and private financings for real estate companies.  In this capacity, Mr. Stahl also sourced and executed numerous transactions across a wide array of corporate finance markets on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Stahl has worked extensively with public and private real estate operating companies, developers and private equity investors in the United States and abroad.  He has particular expertise in the office, retail, industrial, multi-family, self-storage and student housing sectors.  At Miller Buckfire, Mr. Stahl will continue to focus on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing solutions, private capital raising opportunities and initial public offering advisory for companies at varying stages of their development.

Prior to his time at RBC, Mr. Stahl was a Managing Director at GE Real Estate in the North America Equity division, where he headed the Business Development / M&A effort, and was responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing large corporate, portfolio and joint venture real estate transactions.  Over the course of his career, which includes tenures at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank, Mr. Stahl has been responsible for a broad array of real estate transactions, including buy-side and sell-side advisory assignments, joint ventures, commingled funds, initial public offerings and other public and private equity and debt financings.  Mr. Stahl, 39, graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Government.
