DALLAS, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Key Construction was recently presented three prized Excellence in Construction awards from TEXO. TEXO is the largest commercial contractors association in Texas. Museum Place Office Building (Owner: TLC Urban) in Fort Worth, Texas, won in the Commercial $5 - $10 Million Category. Designed by JHP Architects of Dallas, this $5.34 million, 45,750 s.f. mixed-use project features ground level retail and three floors of Class 'A' office space above.
The USTC Mark IV Truck Center (Owner: Charter Associates Inc.) in Fort Worth, Texas took the prize in the Industrial: Less Than $5 Million Category. The 67,000 s.f., $4.3 million pre-engineered metal building project features a paved truck parking area, and 20 truck suites, complete with office space, waiting area, and restroom. Architectural design for the project was provided by PARMADESIGN of Dallas.
Winning a Merit Award in the Residential: Multi-Family & Condominium Category were The Beat Condominiums (Owner: Matthews Southwest) in Dallas, Texas. Designed by Corgan Associates, Inc. of Dallas, the $15.2 million, 11-story project encompasses 110,000 square feet. The 75 loft-style condominiums feature 10 foot ceilings, European style custom cabinetry, and stone countertops, in a concrete, glass and masonry frame.
