MOUNT VERNON, N.Y., May 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Key Digital^® presents KD-HDDA1x1Pro, the new Phantom Series 1 to 1 HDMI Extender. KD-HDDA1x1Pro repeats HDMI signals up to 65 ft. and equalizes the signal for reliable transmission over greater distances than standard cabling.

Utilizing the latest HDMI standards, 3D and ARC (Audio Return Channel), the product also features a built-in library of 16 EDID files, and the capability to force HPD (Hot Plug Detection).

KD-HDDA1x1Pro has multiple benefits to the commercial installers and differentiates itself from the similar products on the market. There are usually two separate products HDMI EDID emulator and Audio de-embedder, so we can compare to both categories:

As HDMI EDID emulator:

HDDA1x1 has pre-installed EDID formats. Most competitors need user to work with PC in order to edit EDID each time.
Has powerful EQ and TMDS re-clock that allows 100 feet cable in and 100 feet cable out. Acts as HDMI cable extender. Most competitors do not have powerful EQ
Has Full HDCP repeater that allows correcting HDCP misunderstanding between sources and display.

As HDMI Audio de-embedder:

It has simultaneous Coaxial PCM and Analog L/R stereo outputs. As far as know most competitors have only Optical Digital output.
Because it has integrated EDID emulation the EDID library allows user to set up correct EDID for 2ch stereo or Dolby 5.1 formats.
