Khloe Kares Responds to Urgent COVID-19 Community Needs by Partnering with #GIVINGTUESDAYNOW

LOS ANGELES, April 13, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Khloe Kares, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, is responding to meet the needs of the Los Angeles County community and to inspire transformational generosity by coming together with #GivingTuesdayNow and leading the efforts of #GIVINGTUESDAYKIDS to support our nonprofits through acts of generosity and fundraising for critical services and programs during this pandemic.

Khloe has began a new campaign to support the needs of Los Angeles by making masks and donating them to organizations in need. To date Khloe Kares, lead by its fearless 13 year old leader, Khloe Thompson, has donated hand made masks to the Los Angeles Mission, LA Juvenile Correction Facility,  and the Union Rescue Mission. With the support from local business such as Hilltop Coffee & Kitchen, co-owned by Isse Rae and friends and family purchasing masks and #GIVING we can continue to donate to the Los Angeles Community Organizations. #GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity, set to take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. The day is designed to drive an influx of generosity, citizen engagement, business and philanthropy activation, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world.

At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on. It's a day for everyone around the world to stand together and give back in all ways, no matter who or where we are.

Khloe Kares believes if the power of kids and is encouraging every kid to join #GIVINGTUESDAYKIDS and give back from home, to take care of our community alongside the entire world with #GivingTuesdayNow. The global movement will emphasize opportunities to give back to communities and causes in safe ways that allow for social connection even while practicing physical distancing.
