Killeen Celebrates Solix, Inc.'s First Customer Care Center in Texas with "Solix Day" Ribbon-Cutting at Fully Renovated Facility Designed to Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
PARSIPPANY, N.J., April 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Solix, Inc.'s long-standing reputation for delivering excellent customer service and the role that the City of Killeen in Texas can play in helping the company build on that tradition, were among the themes presented last evening at a ribbon-cutting ceremony and "Solix Day" Proclamation celebrating the opening of Solix's new customer care center in the historic Downtown District of the city.
Solix, a leading provider of program administration, eligibility determination and customer care services to government agencies and businesses throughout the United States, will operate call center and other customer-engagement services from the Killeen location. The company conducted a comprehensive renovation of the facility to create a contemporary contact center with modern amenities, workstations, floor design and technology that supports the company's commitment to deliver an excellent customer experience.
"We're pleased to offer our customers in Texas outstanding service through our new center in Killeen," said Tom Clarke, Solix Vice President of Commercial Programs, speaking at the ceremony. "We need people that care and are interested in helping others by providing quality service. Killeen offered us a large talent pool of the people we need to succeed. In less than a month since we opened, we haven't been disappointed."
The ribbon-cutting kicked off the "Celebrate Killeen Festival" weekend and was attended by numerous dignitaries including the mayor, members of the city council and officials from the Killeen Economic Development Corporation. A proclamation declaring "Solix Day" was presented to Solix by Killeen Mayor Daniel Corbin who said, "the City of Killeen is excited to welcome Solix into the newly revitalized downtown Killeen Historic District. We look forward to providing your employees a safe and pleasing environment in which to work, play and live."
After conducting an extensive search and reviewing several opportunities throughout the state, Solix chose Killeen after working with the Killeen Economic Development Corporation (KEDC). Patton Kaufman, KEDC President said, "I'm pleased to welcome Solix to the Killeen area with open arms. This project brings quality jobs to local residents and provides new revenue for the city. It's wonderful to see employers returning to the downtown area."
Carlyle Walton, Chairman of the Board of the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, noted how a growing company like Solix is important to cities such as Killeen and "is one more example of how national employers are revitalizing our commercial corridors by expanding in our city and bringing new jobs and services to the people of Killeen."
A growing and diverse clientele choose Solix for its highly personalized approach and uniquely integrated solutions to deliver outstanding support for complex programs. In addition to serving federal and state programs, the company also is a trusted partner for customers in the telecommunications, wireless, broadband, utilities, and healthcare sectors. The company, headquartered in New Jersey, also has customer care centers in Illinois and Indiana.
