Kirby Studios Releases "Bangkok Strong: Stand With Us" in Response to Terror Attack
BANGKOK and LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Kirby Studios released Bangkok Strong: Stand With Us, a high impact video to promote unity and show tourists it's business as usual in Bangkok, one week after a terrorist attack rattled the city. The video and #BangkokStrong hashtag has taken social media by storm with over 50,000 views on Facebook alone in 24 hours.

Bangkok Strong is an initiative to unite the city and traveling public in the aftermath of tragedy. The initiative, modeled after Boston Strong, was launched within hours of the attack. Kirby Repolido, co-founder of Bangkok Strong said, "Cowardly actions will never dampen the Thai spirit." Repolido, Creative Director with Kirby Studios, is originally from the Philippines but after 12 years in Thailand he calls Bangkok home.
Repolido co-founded Bangkok Strong with Steve Richardson, a Louisville based aviation analyst with FlyersPulse. Richardson said, "As a regular visitor to Bangkok, I recognize tourism is the lifeblood of the city. I felt it was important to support the city of Bangkok and their tourism industry."
Bangkok Strong: Stand With Us was produced in less than 72 hours. "I dropped all of my work to produce this video as I felt a duty to support the city," added Repolido.
