KJT Group Proud to Sponsor Free Shakespeare at Highland Bowl!

HONEOYE FALLS, N.Y., July 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- KJT Group is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Rochester Community Player's and WallByrd Theatre Co.'s production of The Two Gentleman of Verona as part of the Rochester Community Players' "Free Shakespeare at Highland Bowl" program. This summer's production, running from July 6^th-21^st at Highland Bowl, features a Bollywood theme on Shakespeare's classic comedy. It is the 22^nd annual "Free Shakespeare at Highland Bowl" production with support from the Monroe County Parks Department.

The Two Gentlemen of Verona is William Shakespeare's earliest comedy: it follows the story of two young men venturing abroad to explore the world and spark romance. What sets this production of 'Two Gents' apart from others is WallByrd director Virginia Monte's vision to have the gentlemen of the title travel to Mumbai rather than Milan, making it 'La-La-Land' meets 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.' We partnered locally with the India Community Center and its Kalidas Theater as well as the Bharata School of Indian Dance to ensure this production properly captured the Bollywood theme and Indian culture while featuring local India-born and Indo-American actors."

Performances are free to the public, and start at 8pm every night, with no performances on Mondays. The show runs about two and a half hours including a 15-minute intermission, where refreshments are available for sale. The July 20^th performance will be ASL interpreted, sponsored by Canandaigua National Bank. Bring a chair or blanket, your sense of humor, and join us for Shakespeare under the stars!
