Knack Appoints Tim Costantino as Chief Product Officer to Lead Healthcare Expansion

Veteran healthcare technology leader joins as Knack builds out its HIPAA-compliant platform for AI-powered application development

ERIE, Pa., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Knack, the platform for building HIPAA-compliant custom applications, today announced the appointment of Tim Costantino as Chief Product Officer. Costantino will lead product strategy as Knack accelerates its focus on the healthcare market with the launch of Knack Health this year.

Costantino brings nearly two decades of product and technology leadership, most recently as SVP and Head of Product at AdvancedMD, a cloud-based healthcare software platform serving independent medical practices across the United States. At AdvancedMD, he led product strategy across the company's practice management, EHR, and patient engagement suite. He also drove the platform's move into AI-powered workflow automation, building tools that help providers reduce administrative burden and focus on patient care.

Prior to AdvancedMD, Costantino held product and technology leadership roles at SS&C Technologies, StayWell, and National City Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence and Psychology from Case Western Reserve University.

Costantino joins at a pivotal moment for Knack. This year, Knack extended that platform further with the launch of its MCP server, which connects AI coding tools — including Lovable, Claude Code, Base44, and Replit — directly to Knack's HIPAA-compliant backend. The move positions Knack as the compliance-ready backend for AI-assisted app development in healthcare, where security requirements typically slow down innovation.

Costantino now leads Knack's product strategy and product team.
