Kolpak Goes Coast-to-Coast With Expanded Manufacturing, Service, and Product Support
PARSONS, Tenn., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Manitowoc Foodservice Walk-in and Refrigeration Division has expanded its Kolpak manufacturing capabilities westward with an additional manufacturing facility in Goodyear, Arizona. This new facility gives Kolpak the flexibility to manufacture coast-to-coast, across the country, offering speed-to-market and cost-savings on freight to customers. No matter where the walk-in is manufactured, freight costs will be optimized using one of three shipment points, Phoenix, Ariz., Parsons, Tenn., or Portland, Ore.
Kolpak's new expansion capabilities include fabrication of foamed in place panels, high-density rails, and wood-framed construction to meet the needs of specialty markets. In addition, the number of business development managers in the field has doubled to ensure full service and added-value to customers.
Optimizing shipping locations, expanding fabrication capabilities, and increasing the customer service base are just a few of the reasons why Kolpak walk-ins are a leader in the foodservice industry. Initiatives like this allow Kolpak to achieve a 96% on-time delivery status and drive its continuous pursuit of excellence.
Kolpak offers a wide range of energy saving and environmentally friendly products and features. Indoor and outdoor units are designed for maximum cold-holding performance with minimum environmental impact, all while saving money on energy costs, operating costs, and overall cost of ownership.
